The Corporate Side Of Manufacturing

Manufacturing and heavy industry isn't all about smoke, factories and assembly lines—just as much happens in boardrooms and offices as actually takes place on the factory floor! A lot of this stuff is more interesting than you might imagine; have you ever wondered, for example, how someone might keep a large workforce alert and on the job for a task that is absolutely vital but also repetitive enough that it could become a little samey after a while?
